Electrode Arm for Arc Furnaces (EAF/SAF) is made of copper-steel composite panels or aluminum-steel composite panels, with a rectangular cross-section and internal water cooling. It eliminates many insulating links between the water-cooled conductive copper tube, electrode chuck and cross arm, making the cross arm A new type of cross arm on an ultra-high power electric arc furnace with a greatly simplified structure.

Features of copper-steel composite conductive cross arm:
1. The clamping force of the electrode clamping mechanism is large, and there is good electrical contact between the electrode and the copper chuck.
2. The center circle of the electrode is small, which not only reduces the inductive voltage drop on the electrode, but also reduces the corrosion of refractory materials.
3. Set up a reliable insulation layer at the appropriate location to prevent current from dispersing and gap arcing, and components will not be heated and damaged.
The copper-steel composite conductive cross arm has:
* The structure has good rigidity, reduces the vibration of the cross arm, and makes the work safe and reliable;
* Reduce resistance and reactance values and improve electrical efficiency;
* Simple and compact structure, easy to install, use and maintain.

Electrode Arm for Arc Furnaces mainly has the following advantages:
1. The use of hollow cross-section and double-layer copper-steel composite panels greatly reduces the skin effect, reduces impedance, and improves electrothermal efficiency;
2. The box-shaped structure with hollow cross-section and the internal water-cooling channel greatly enhance the strength of the cross arm, which is conducive to the adjustment of electrode movement without causing vibration, and is conducive to arc stability;
3. It is lighter in weight and has less inertia than the traditional steel tube type conductive cross arm, which is conducive to frequent lifting and lowering of the electrode.
